Game On

The smell of freshly grilled brats saturates the air as a sea of red T-shirts flows westward: it’s time for another Badger Game Day. For decades, UW students, alumni, and fans have flocked to Camp Randall Stadium to cheer on the Badger football team. In athletic use since 1895, Camp Randall has been a fully functioning stadium since 1917, when the UW installed new seating levels to hold nearly 12,000 people. Camp Randall is now the 41st largest stadium in the world, with the capacity to hold more than 80,000 Badger fans. Of the many traditions maintained within the stadium, what’s your favorite?
