​There was little to be outraged about when the new Gordon Dining and Event Center opened in the fall of 2012, replacing the decades-old Ed’s Express and Pop’s Club that made up the former Gordon Commons that served the Southeast-area residence halls. But students were, in fact, outraged when a particular menu item was missing from the new digs: Juston Stix, a buttery, garlicky, cheesy, late-night snack that many had grown to love. Juston Johnson BA2002 was the mastermind behind the sauce-less pizza alternative. By popular demand, the sticks were quickly returned to the menu and nearly outsell pizza each Friday and Saturday night.
