Women in Entrepreneurship panel with park-featured alumni Kay Koplovitz ’67, founder, USA Network, and Heidi Allstop ’10, CEO of Spill, as well as Katie Brenner, a UW-Madison scientist, and moderated by Jonathan Eckhardt, executive director of the Weinert Center for Entrepreneurship. The panel is part of the Wisconsin Alumni Association’s Day of Learning, with sessions presented by renowned UW faculty and alumni, running from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Gordon Dining and Event Center.

Co-founder of the cable-television giants USA Network and Syfy Channel and a Wisconsin Alumni Association Distinguished Alumni Award recipient, Kay Koplovitz was the first woman president of an American broadcast network. Heidi Allstop, a 2015 WAA “Forward Under 40” honoree, founded the online advice and support forum Spill while still a student. Spill is now part of the MeToo network, of which Allstop is the managing director. Along with scientist Katie Brenner, Koplovitz and Allstop will address the challenges, rewards and future for women in entrepreneurship. Learn More >
