Who Should Be Featured Next?

Do you know a UW–Madison alum who deserves to be recognized in Alumni Park? Maybe it’s you! The Wisconsin Alumni Association is looking for alumni who embody the Wisconsin Idea to be added to Alumni Park. A diverse collection of candidates is desired, and alumni from every UW era and all professional fields will be considered. When thinking through your submission(s), be sure to use one or more of the following thematic pillars that are represented in the park as criteria when highlighting accomplishments and impact as these areas will be where the new class of alumni are represented. So please, share the stories of worthy Badgers and why they should be honored in Alumni Park.

Service— Alumni in this area have distinguished themselves by using their UW education and professional expertise to make notable change and improvements in the human condition.

Discovery — Alumni in this area have distinguished themselves by pushing the boundaries of knowledge, introducing new ways of approaching problems, and advancing understanding and achievement.

Progress — Alumni in this area have distinguished themselves by making significant achievements in their workplace, profession, or field of expertise.

Leadership — Alumni in this area have distinguished themselves professionally or personally by taking an active role as a leader in public, private, or professional settings.

Tradition — Alumni in this area have distinguished themselves by celebrating communities of life and of place while honoring the past and embracing the future.
