Get into that back-to-school Badger spirit by visiting Alumni Park and One Alumni Place for a “Tours and Traditions” open house. Hosted by the Wisconsin Alumni Association (WAA) in partnership with the UW–Madison Parent and Family Program’s Move-In Event for Families, this event offers a relaxed opportunity to learn more about the UW.

Enjoy a lively, informal talk on “UW Traditions: From Bucky Badger to the Wisconsin Idea” with WAA’s Jeff Wendorf ’82. Then take a guided tour of Alumni Park and its exhibits featuring stories of UW alumni, traditions, and innovations. Features light refreshments (cookies and lemonade) and a drawing for the chance to win an Alumni Park gift bag.

The tours and talks are approximately 30 minutes each. Stay for the entire event, drop in for part of it, or join midstream.
