Grand Opening Celebration: Spring 2017
Today, construction. Tomorrow, inspiration.
Currently under construction between Memorial Union and the Red Gym, Alumni Park will create a lakefront green space devoted to celebrating the Wisconsin Idea: the principle that the University should benefit people throughout Wisconsin and beyond. The Wisconsin Idea begins on campus. Alumni make it ripple around the world. Alumni Park honors the Wisconsin Idea by honoring the Badgers who have shaped our lives. One Alumni Place, a new alumni-focused visitor center, will be the home on campus for graduates and friends.
Create a Tribute
There’s only so much space in Alumni Park, and many thousands of UW alumni have left their mark on our world (and in some cases, beyond our world). We knew we couldn’t include them all. But then, Alumni Park isn’t the end of a conversation — it’s the beginning.
Add a tribute to the future digital Alumni Park. Is there a UW-Madison graduate who has shaped your life? A Badger you want to thank? An alumnus or alumna whose work is too important to miss? Create a tribute here.
Thank You, Generous Alumni and Friends!
Alumni Park and One Alumni Place are gifts to campus from grateful graduates. Although the Wisconsin Alumni Association has guided the process, it’s generous alumni who have made it possible.
